I'm looking for a few helicopters that i cant seem to find for OFP... Has anyone made the following?
CH-146 Griffon, CH-124 Sea King (yah, I know it's old...) CH-46E Sea Knight, KA-60 Kasatka, and the PAH-2 Tiger.
On a side note, has anyone tried to make a V-22 Osprey? A working Osprey would make an interesting little toy...

Thats the problem, people delete old addons because there old myself im looking fir a C-47 "Dekota". It has also been deleted cause its old

Actually, i was reffering to the fact that the Sea King is old, run down, and about to be replaced. I wasn't reffering to the age of the addon.

Didnt Martin do a very good civilian version of the Dakota?
Think it is also having a military version done as well.
I do believe the Falklands mod are making a Sea King.

The Malvinas Mod have a couple of nice british seakings in their british aircraft pack, they are great to play around with, but they are on the east side! You get a nice couple of Gazeles with erm too though. Hope this helps

Some one was making a V-22 Osprey a little whilt back. It was no where near beta testing, but it is being worked on. Check the archives at:

Actually, for the CH-146 Griffon and CH-124 Sea King I was looking for Canadian modles, seeing as they are the two main helos for the CAF (canadian armed forces). Those are the two I really want. I was hoping Operation Northstar would make a set of Canadian Choppers, but if they did it's not on thier site or anywhere else now...

The Griffon is basically a Bell Model 214 Huey (the standard huey with 4 rotor blades and two turbines.). For the Canadien forces, it is equiped with a hoist and upgraded avionics. It also has the CF camo. The Sea King, USN Designation SH-3A, is still a common helicopter. It is also used in Britian. It is an excellent helicopter and is very much in use with the US, albiet with upgrades.

lol, i know all about the Griffon, Avenger, I'm in the Canadian Armed Forces Infantry reserve... I just was wondering if there is a Canadian Helicopter pack?
Also, I could really use a Sea Knight for my missions involving the USMC. I've been using Extration's SH-60 Seahawk, but it dosn't always have enough room... and the AI cant seem to fly the CH-53e Super Stalion I have.

A CH-46 would be nice, maybe BAS will make one in the future..., And I agree that there should be a Canadian Forces helo pack, hopefully Northstar will make one, to go along with their other addons.

i believe there is a sea king out there only it is designated CH-3
i downloaded one, or a jolly green giant which is similar

Actually, i just found out Operation Northstar is working on a Griffon... It looks incredible, too! But unfourtunatly, it's still going to be awhile...
How 'bout any of the other choppers? Are any of them available for download?

Either one should work, with a little bit of minor retexturing.., Y'all use a different form of camo, right Coldfire?
If I recall correctly, someone made a nice Griffon for Flight Simulator 98. Look it up at flightsim.com

Yah, we use a different Camo, but that doesn't matter too much (hey, camo is camo, there isn't that huge a differance in pattern)... I'm more concerned about markings, it doesn't look as good when Canadian troops are being carried in American helos.
