Title: adding custom things 2 ofp

yes im a n00b 2 editing flahpoint i just recently dug it out from the loft

i have the addons xcept 4 resistance but they aint installed at the mo
will i need them to install new fings?? i have done sum modding 4 cs adding

all i need to know is where 2 to put diff things guns/vehicles/pple/face and maps plz help me !?!?!?!

come stop just reading it plz help me out this is doing me head in i wanna make things and stuff like all u guys can

do i need the addons 2 add the weaps + where can i get the nuke ?

I'll see if I can figure out what your saying here...  ;)

Your going to need to use Resistance for all the new stuff thats coming out.  Head on over to

http://www.flashpoint1985.com  to get the latest patch, read the instructions there.


Everything you download can go in either the Addons folder or in the Res/Addons folder.

The folder will be located, if you installed it in the default directory:

C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Addons\

and the Resistance one:

C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Res\Addons\

Use the forum search function, (link in my sig), and search for Grendel'l nuke.

If you MSN me I could help you start makng models for OFP..
It's the only IM prog I have (I've tried a few others, but don't like them)
And emails would be far to slow..

So to install a mod i will need resistance i dont have it yet but i been meaning to get it since release ! all i had was a demo.  :'(

Can i install new weapons and units to ofp on its own with out any update or add on coz i just installed it and my addons r at my other house i wanna know where i need to put my new units/weapons/faces if i can if not what addons will i need.

No, you don't need Resistance for everything, but for all the new stuff coming out, you'll need Resistance.  How ever, look for addons for 1.46, and you'll be able to use those.

Place addons in this folder:


C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\Addons\

i dont have an addons folder i will update my ofp tonite but if i wanted 2 dl a new unit or gun like 4 example a FAMAS or sum british SAS (coz we da best in da world) where wud i load it to be able to use it in the editor  

lol i cant even make a decent mission yet just silly little war zones but ay i like em!!
