Title: Changing size of existing vehicles??
Post by: Wolfram on 16 Mar 2004, 22:50:03
Newbie question:
I think about trying to do a basic addon of the chinese Type-62 light tank.
Since it generally speaking is nothing more than a scaled down Type-59 it would  be feasible to just scale down an existing t-54/55/59-addon to get a acceptable representation for the Type-62.

How can i do that in the most simple way?
Is it possible to change physical size in config.cpp
or do I need to use Oxygen or something like that?

I really like the idea of meeting an t-59 followed by a bunch of "her kids" (Type-62) in combat!

Cheers

Can't do it through the config.cpp, but if you got the model into O2 then you could just select everything and scale it down easily.. ;D

Thanks for the answer Kaliyuga!

I have discovered that for my limited knowledge about O2, all the addons I have of T55-tanks seems to be binearized.
I get a load error every time I try to open any of these unpbo:ed
*.p3d files.
Is there any t55 p3d model somewhere that is possible to edit and is available for downloading???

Cheers
