Title: Sound Problems
Post by: Marvin on 23 Feb 2004, 16:32:38
I didn`t know where to post it, so i post it here!
I jyst have sound problems in OFP!
Sometimes when i play ofp, the all sound start to loop - example, if theres is playing music, then it`s starts to repeat, ever 5 seconds, like old Cd`s!
Also the radio messages start to repeat, and only to do is to restart the game!

This sounds like a general gameplay issue, rather than an editing-related issue.    If so, then the best place to post is probably over at the offical forums at www.flashpoint1985.com.    Search these forums first - I've had a couple of general problems which already had the solution posted there.     OFPEC is specifically an editing site, not a general OFP site.

Whatever it is, it sounds nasty.  ;D   I'd do all the standard stuff .... reboot the computer; update your sound drivers;  run standard maintenance utilities like scandisc;  if all else fails reinstall the game.  (Make sure you've got all the bits like CD keys before uninstalling.)

This sounds like a hardware conflict to me.

Make sure your sound card and your graphics card aren't sharing the same resource........i.e. the same irq

Other than that try the offocial forums.

Hey there, Marvin.

That sounds a bit nasty mate.

As Macca suggested, the best place to find a solution like this would be the Official Forums (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?).

As we're strictly an editing site, I don't think we'll be that much help. Good luck ;)
