Hi, I'm making a mission that I used kegetys editor addon 102 in.
I just placed some buildings in the enemy base.
When I play the map by myself it works fine & when I host it & play with others it works fine too. But when I let someone else host my map the east (enemy) AI destroy certain buildings. I tried changing the buildings making sure they were east buildings & it seemed even worse.
I have no idea what is happening.
Why would the enemy be blowing up these buildings?
& why does it only happen when someone else hosts the mission?
Anyone ever have this problem?
Thanks

1) How are they destroying the Buildings
Satchelling them
Driving into them with tanks???
2) Does your friends server have the same settings you do, eg, not running ECP, SuperAI etc

Bmp is blowing them up.
I changed all the buildings that were being blown to east tents & now they dont destroy them. also I tried playing east unit to see what was going on & noticed that the buildings were not visible on the map but all the tents were.
There is something about these buildings that makes the AI crazy.

Are you sure, you're both using the very same versions
of editor upgrades/updates ;)
~S~ CD

also could you possibly have mistakenly linked a building to a unit, while you were creating unit groups

I know that MFcti addon makes AI engage the buildings as they were the enemy. Maybe you have the addon and accidently used it's buildings and not from the editor update?
Other than that all I can say is "Hmm.. what a weird problem"

What is MFcti?

Onother great bug!
I like Flashpoint! :)

http://mfcti.sourceforge.net/
The MFcti is a mission/mod for a 'capture the island' mission. It has an addon that has buildings seen as enemy by the AI.
Seeing you didn't know what it is, I doubt the problem is about that :)

Hmm.. I think this should solve it..
Put in the buildings INIT field,
this setcaptive true
That should stop Mr. BMP attacking it :)
