I want a MH-60L to drop off my team outside a village. I have given the pilot (SOAR1) a 'TRANSPORT UNLOAD' waypoint, and the leader of 'group1' (inf1), a 'GET OUT' waypoint, both are sycronised. I have even added an invisible H, but the blackhawk just flys to the waypoint and hovers...
What am i doing wrong?
Thanks - PureMassacre

Ah yes, choppers. I don't know anything about choppers myself, except that you have to read all the tutes in the Ed Depot about them.
The missing ingredient in this case may be a land command
chopper1 land "land"
Check the syntax. (It'll be in one of the tutes as well as the command ref.) Also move the position of the invisible H - the AI can be very fussy about where it will and will not land.

Hmm, this is really annoying me...
If i make it land, it switches its engine off...

I've got it working now, stupid AI, i wont land on a flat bit of land, but it'll attempt to land on the top of a mountain... ::)

macguba, macguba, mate. The land command isn't simply "land". It's also land "get out" and land "get in". These two should make the chopper hover low to allow them to leave.
As to choppers...they're impossible little buggers, and making them work as you want to is no easy thing. But you got it working, so no need to panic :toocool:
Wolfrug out.

Yes yes yes I know that, I was simply so delighted  to see you back (in the other thread)that I was too excited to mention it.
How have you been, you old timer you?
