Title: Blackhawk Down Sounds
Post by: Mr. S.A.S on 06 Feb 2004, 22:37:36
Anyone know where I can get sounds of someone shouting "RPG! RPG!", "Super Six One going in hard" and "Six one is down: I repeat: Six One is down" or "We've got a Blackhawk down. We've got a Blackhawk down"?

If youve got the DVD, rip it from the film. ;)

Do some of your own voice acting.... :D
Just play some gunfire sounds and somali voices yelling on a seperate tape or the DVD while you voice record.
BLACK HAWK DOWN! HEY A TECHNICAL ACROSS THE STREET?WHAT, RPG!

DVD burning is better me thinks. :)

thanx, but I don't have a microphone, Black Hawk Down on dvd, sound recording software, or a voice that sounds good on tape. If anyone knows a site, or has these sound files already ripped, that would help.

Here's what I found after looking for a few minutes on google...

it's meant to be a part of a windows BHD theme so they're all small sound bytes meant to be used for when you start/shutdown windows etc.. but there are a few in here you may be able to use:

Yea, was just about to suggest that..
If you buy the game (It's a okay game, not the most realistic game.. ::) but fun none-the-less... And the multiplayers pretty good)..
Then, goto www.dfbarracks.com > downloads > blackhawkdown stuff and find a PFF extractor..
There is a load of sound files (Amoung other stuff), like all the sounds used in the game (Some not used, even)

I'm sure the demo has a lot of sounds (I can remeber the RPG RPG! thing in the demo...)

The FWO (I think that it.. ::)) Raven's PFF extractor works very well, and there is a listing of what all the sounds say (Email me for a copy if you can't find it)

I'll try and find links etc when I'm less busy :)

If you got a link to the sounds, then why not put a link in the gimme your sound files thread.  ;D
Help make it a sticky topic.

I have the demo and got the sounds from that, now all I need is "we've got a blackhawk down","Super six one is down" and "super six one going in hard", in .wav format

WAV list : http://www.dfbarracks.com/downloads/index.php?action=df&fid=161
PFF Converter :
http://www.dfbarracks.com/downloads/index.php?action=df&fid=50
Demo : http://www.3dgamers.com/games/deltaforcebhd/

Basicly install the demo, find what you need from the WAV list (Not all files are in the demo...), and get them out with the PFF prog :)

Simple!
