Title: A comprehensive mission EDITOR tutorial is where?
Post by: Ehehe on 06 Feb 2004, 15:19:08
I would like to know if there is available a comprehensive mission editor tutorial somehere. I haven't found one yet. I need an explanation to at least these issues:

1. Info age? Hhmmm....?

2. Intel screen: under the weather and weather forecast sliders are another sliders with no explanation. What do they do?

3. How do I use the "Send by e-mail" save option?

 :o Info age?  :)  this is where ya can decide how old the information about a unit is.

Thus: if it is actual then you will know where and what the unit is
but if its 15 minutes old then the information will be slightly wrong.

hope it clears yer skies back home.  :-* ;)

==========

Intel screen:
under the weather and weather forecast sliders is another slider
with no explanation.

 :) it simply sets the "Start FOG" ingame (and the forecast fog below).

Slide it RIGHT and you'll have more fog (less visibility). :thumbsup:

 :o oh & about the "Send Mission" option,
I havent used it but I assume U need MS-outlook or alike to use it.  :)

'Info Age' is the most stupid thing on the mission editor, and it's best to save the mission normally then send it by mail. All you need is a comprehensive command reference for your version, and use alt+tab to switch between them. Eventually, you'll be making missions straight from your head!  :o
