How do you hide links in a briefing until a condition is met.
NOTE: I am asking about links, not objectives.
-
you mean like hidden markers? ??? or what
coz if so, just select the "EMPTY" marker when making the mission and then in a trigger,
when all conditions are met - put this line:
MakerName setMarkerType Viewable
Example:
"MarkerOne" setMarkerType "Arrow"
-
Nah Tomby, i believe he's talking more about hidden
objectives.
Homefry, check out the editors depot and watch for
briefing tutorials.
In there you can see how to use objectives.
There are options for: hide hidden active done
HIDDEN is the one, where you can't see the objective, ergo
it's not showing up in the briefing. If you have any links
in this objective, it won't appear in the briefing, unless you
ACTIVATE it.
:edit - lol - stupid me :-[ - just seen that you said that you're
not talking about objectives ;D
Anyway, you should use the same technique, but simple don't
use the objective as an objective then.

lol ;D

AFAIK the only way to do it is to hide them within hidden objectives.
-
Yeah, I wanted to do this for "The Lost Lion" but the only way to achieve it that I could find is to make a hidden objective also.
:-\
Let me know if you find a different way though! :)
