or even a normal train but it would reall cool , a great way to tranport troop or equipment think of the possiblities , of course youldd have to have a track that might be the tricky part

How about a small five car train vehicle? Then make a road addon that only it can travel on or needs it to travel on, something like that. Making tracks might be complicated, armored trains maybe or fightng on civvi ones, like stop train before it crashes,  cool idea. :)

any typ of train would be cool with some sort of properties ext.repair ammo medical values transportional purposes stuff like as far as a track the moest relist thing wold be to create  a map with the track allready  laid out but it would be such a cool add-on

I was thinking of a train addon a while back. It was going to carry armnament, vehicles and to add a story to it.... a nuclear missle.

But shouldn't the Invasion 44 mod have one? Didn't the germans have those trains? I remember being on one in Medal of Honor frontline....

I heard one time on the history channel sometime ago about this huge gun the germans put on this train near Berlin, the shells in the gun were about as big as a mini compact car today, they fired it at poland too.

If the russians hade this, and fired it at everon airport...
You'd be guarding the place when this huge a$$ shell flew overhead :D :D :D

The cool thing about trains is that you could get stuff from one point of an island to another in no time flat. But you also have to be ready for ambushes and sabotage on train bridges and tracks. But what's the point of it if you can fly across an island in less than a minute anyway?

How would you be able to make a train in OFP? Most vehicles don't stay on the road, so what makes you think the train would stay on the tracks?

A group is already making a train. Check the usual sites and there archives. I remember seeing pictures of it.

i think a couple groups are working on trains ive seen them around but havent hear anything about them lately
id like to see them in the ww2 mods have the steam engines blow when ya strafe them ;D

You can download rails from Berlin1945's website, but i don't remember the address  :(
