Title: Laser Designator ... WTH?

I am trying to add a laser designator to one of my guys and the only way it seems to want to do it is if I do a "removeallweapons this" first. Is this a bug?

He probably has no space in his gear so it's not a bug.

How much space does this thing need?

I can get the "weapon" part of it in no problem ... I guess it is the "magazine part that is in error .... how many "magazine" slots does it need?
