Title: Connecting created shapes in O2
Post by: Ace Productions on 04 Dec 2003, 20:15:33
Hi everybody,

I've just started modelling in O2 and I have a question that might be somewhat silly but I'm learning guys so be patient please. When creating three or four different shapes in O2, i.e. two boxes and a cylinder, is it necessary to connect them somehow (merge?) in order to create the final addon, and how is it done?

Thanks in advance.

It isn't neccessary to join the shapes. unfortunately O2 doesn't have the luxury of boolean operations which allows for adding parts to each other. But the model will still look fine. A tip is to delete any faces that are not visible when the model is in the game as this cuts down on the polygon count.

Thanks a lot colonel for your fast reply.

Except more from me since I'm building my first addon.
