what do i change so that i can replace the default in game skins
is it in /DTA/data3d.pbo
Will it be possible to modify them at all?
if so what tools?
i know about DePBO.exe
its the graphics editing tool that im sketchy about
any one wanna run me through it?

i think u go into the DTA folder open the data.pbo (make sure you un-pbo the data.pbo) and in that folder is alot of textures in the game. And make sure the new texture has the same name as the old texture you want to replace.
after u put in the new textures in , re-pbo and stick it in the DTA folder
i not sure this will work :-\.... it might

DTA/Data.pbo/Zatazeno.pac (seen from Overcast 0.0 => 0.5)
DTA/Data.pbo/Oblacno.pac (seen from Overcast 0.5 => 0.65)
DTA/Data.pbo/Jasno.pac (seen from Overcast 0.65 => 1.0)
This one as far as I know will never be seen, but is the "placeholder" texture. I'd be interested to know otherwise, but I'm fairly sure this is correct.
DTA/Data.pbo/Obloha.pac

im using paa/pac to view these files
and i keep getting errors when quick viewing these files
when i save them as .BMP however i just get a
cream color (like this forum)!!
what is the tool for the job?
and dose it allow me to replace the texture???

Errors when viewing? Might be your video drivers. Saving as .bmp.....don't. Save as a .tga file.....they are much better to work with.
