Title: Own voices?

Hi there

is there any way to customise and add a new set of voices without meddle with the official one?

If you mean using your own voices for a cutscene yes, it's easy - check the tutes in the Ed Depot.    In summary you record your line of dialogue, convert the sound file to ogg format, drop in into you mission folder, define the sound in your description.ext and refer to the definition from the mission/cutscene script.

no not cutscene.  its the in game voices like form staggered columm, ready, 2 is down...etc..

Cant offer any solutions but, you would either have to try and override the originals or try to create an entierly new identity and assign that to your guys.

Either way, you will have to trawl through the config.cpp to see how voices are assigned (it's quite complex), and see if they can be defined in addons.

It would be great if it was possible, as custom voices added by users rarley sound like OFP's default ones.
