Title: Cutscene on demand
Post by: GaryP on 19 Sep 2003, 14:15:06
I'm posting this as an idea, and not so much as a question.

If I have a radio trigger and I can make the trigger multi, then can I attach it to a camera and "call" it ant time I want to.  I was thinking of a spy camera kind of thing.  Maybe I can pass it commands to pan and zoom?

Anyone remember Duke Nukem?  They had cameras everywhere to tell you where the bad guys were.:o

Has anyone done this?  I'd hate to reinvent the wheel.  ::)

someone has done this but i can't remember where!!!

they made a stack of tv monitors as an addon.  then they use camera addons to create security cameras, etc.  if i find it i'll post a link here.

otherwise why not go fishing yourself!!!  ;)

I remember playing a map about a year ago that if you clicked radio alpha, it cut to a camera high above an enemy camp that acted as a 'satellite camera'. It was an interesting idea, but had a couple flaws... unfortunately, I don't remember the map's name...

Giday -Omega-,
That's a cool satelite script, I'm pretty sure that SEFE made it. You can get it here, at OFPEC in the scripts section.
