Title: 5.56mm Stoner 63 System

The stoner 5.56mm weapon system comprised of six weapons with interchangeable parts.The versions were assault rifle, carbine (shorty), 2 light machine guns (belt and mag fed), medium machine gun and tank machine gun.There was also a stoner lmg made in the 80's by Ares Inc looking a lot different, but still various versions.The USMC tested the original system in the sixties, as a lot of you will know it was a great favourite with the Navy Seals.
It was also made in the Netherlands but no one bought any made by NWM kruithoom.
Right my idea is you have an ammo crate with a few different flavour stoners inside.Maybe bren style lmg, belt fed (box or drum), assault rifle, grenade launcher(yes they made one), and maybe one with a starlight scope (NV).
Not quite a wepon for every occasion but pretty close.

the light machine gun version is represented in the seb nam pack...one of my personal favorites

Ahh yes.. my baby..
I have never had more fun creating a gun when I created that one :)
I think I did a bit more detailed version of it then I did for NamPack2..

Yeah I really like the Seb Stoner its a great bit of kit, it would be nice to see different versions though like the rifle version or Bren style LMG.Fat Joe thats a great looking Stoner you've made, cheers for the pic.
I think once I've upgraded my pc I'll have a go at making a few variants myself, I think there might have even been a surpressed version of the M63 rifle.Be nice to do a night mission with Seals with silenced weapons Hush Puppy pistols, silenced Swedish K , Stoner (surpressed rifle variant) could be fun.

yeah.. me and the Captain were talking about it'd be nice to have more variants of the Stoner.. but I'm not planing on doing anything yet..

If, and note.. IF, there will be NP3 I'll try and make few more variants like Drum mag, normal mag, dunno about silenced version of it.. I kinda doubt it as silencer at that time were very uncommon..
dunno though.. :)

Right the suppressed variant probably only got to prototype stage, the picture I've seen of it was off the front of the technical manual (Paladin press).Its great to hear your're considering different versions in the future, if you need any help with research give me a shout.I've been collecting books on Vietnam/SE Asia for the past ten years, I've also got a decent collection of old Jane's publications like infantry weapons etc.So if they made it I've probably got a pic somewhere.
