Alright lads
lets get this up and running again
now we need to decide on a good time, preferably on saturday night australian time ::)
and we need to now what time it starts and post the correct time for all participating countries
Messy, max killer payne, and macguba, ur help would be great in organising this
and tigershark or Tj, can we use the bas server to host it?
and could we get more of the bas staff involved?

Yeah, im up for this, definitly. Especially if Tigershark, Macguba, Noon and all the administrators fly over in a chopper and BOOM!!! A well placed LAW up the ass of a BAS chopper, sending them all plumeting toward the ground. LOL ;D
Edit: Perhaps an OFPEC clan could be setup? And trials take place?

I think we can use our server....although we do need to place a cap on the number people coming....whats the tally atm?
Problem also is finding missions that sustain this amount of people. Any missions you better send them to us quick.

I have to play this time, all that time last time I spent hyped up for the match. Then the computer guy says 'OH yeah, you wont have ur PC over the weekend'. And I was really lookin foward to it. By the way im in a clan, so watch your ass!!
Edit: I've got a great map. It requires all the BAS addons, and is can support 12 players,
6 West and 6 East. and more AI East. Its a hostage rescue, and is pretty damn good. Anyone else got any good maps?

well its settled
4:30 london time on the 30th of august which is around 12:00 in the morning on sunday for me :-\
and i have to get up the next mornin to go to school and do my hsc music practical rehearsal, one of my peices is from flashpoint :)
but yeah im lookin foward to it.

the total at the moment is 9 ppl but the front page add will likely attract attention, and im hoping that messy and macguba and even anmac might participate as well.
this could also be a good chance to use the BAS blackhawks.
oh and also ctf games are good but more objective based missions where were all on the same team fighting against a common enemy (Tim hits LCD with a big stick) would be good.

P.S would Noon416 or Sefe be interested?, there very mysterious and we could play pop a cap in the admins ass.
Noon and Sefe start with hair brushes and oversized slippers and we have to hunt them down with over sized anti personel weapons.

I got a couple of very fun missions. I made a great kill the vip mission on panzerfaust 2.0 island but it requires the ags_harbourkitt and the ags_industrial, ags_city, and the barracks addon by mapfact team.
any one care to add me on their msn or icq i can send the missions to the server admin/s? I do have addon free missions too or missions that reuires less addons. ;)

Hey, I'd love to beat the crap out of :beat: ..I mean, I'd love to join some of my fellow OFPEC brethren who also spend way too much time on this site ! ;D Asmo, you must be a U.S. Westcoaster like me, eh? Get up at 8 am on a Saturday? Man! The things one has to endure just to go shoot at people! :D
I normally like co-ops, but would be happy to play against peeps whose names I recognize, at least. It would be very helpful and efficient to have a list of pertinent items like Addons, IP, Server Name, what kind of snacks to bring, etc. ;D
Are we definitely using Version 1.92 ? Haven't tried it yet. :-X

I think there's no time to poll it anyway.. time's running short.
mfcti has a new excellent version, but as some of you remember (like I do in my nightmares), the last time didn't go quite as planned. Three times we tried to play it and every attempt ended in under 5 minutes, although it's a 2+ hour mission normally.. ::)
The OFPEC missions depot has some reviewed cft maps but as you can see from the scores they're not exactly the sharpest missions in the pot.
I'll scout my way through the pending ctf missions.. who knows maybe there's some lost jevel in there. ;D
(nah j/k, they're all good missions.. :-*)

I am trying to secure Gunships server....not sure which version it is running....stay tuned for IP addresses and details.

well im not too concerned about islands or maps, we'll probably just use official islands and maps but ill leave the map finding to max_killer_payne.
but do get your bas addons ready and installed and the mp missions that go with them.
because i really want to play some serious co-op as well as CTF

Hey, well good idea to staying with the official islands. max, please try to use smaller sized multi-player missions so everyone doesn't have to wait for the 56kers like me. I say we meet 1 or 2 hours ahead of time in the OFPEC chat. I'll probably be in there even earlier.
Please have some good co-op missions. I love co-op missions. Playing as a team is really fun, the best I would say.

@whoever manages the server: I have a CTF, that requires the BAS/Rangers, lbpack and mh60 pack.. supports 14 players, can add more. Think I will too..

Well... I launched OFP 1.92 went to the server.... and didn't see a single person :(
So I guess my OFP doesnt want to let me play today guys for some unknown reason ::)

There was lots of :gunman: and lots of :-X
I couldn't say which match was the most fun, I'd say they were all very fun! (co-op is real cool though) ;D

This first one is Red and I destroying the evidence of our arrival near Modrava to try and take a NATO held base...

Moments that stick out for me are:
Shooting Evis with an AA rocket while he's flying an AH1, he survives I think, I run around a corner to see Tigershark.. We both shoot each other 2-3 times and we both die! ;D
Shooting some Ranger from the factory window 6 times, killing him and then getting shot by Gameer's well placed 9mm bullets. :o
Riding in the blackhawk to and from the Ranger Rescue listening to Slayer the whole time! :o ;D
Driving a T80 into the Nogova airport and destroying all kinds of stuff! :gunman:

Yeah those AA kills can be tricky. :-\ From the last game I got 1 Air unit kill though I killed 3. ;D

sorry i couldnt rejoin u guys but my pc shit itself and i had to restart so i just went to bed.
but ranger rescue kicked ass and having that fire fight with the resistance while u were boarding the helo was so cool and not to mention rather heroic on my part.
god the fire got so bad we were down to pistols and grenades, now that is true flashpoint.
Big thanks to Evis, Tigershark and all the other players who made the match very enjoyable
and homefry, grab a military dictionary and learn what the words close air support mean ;D :)
thanks heap for the fun and ill get on to organizing another one ;D

well im aiming for this saturday, same time, 4:30 london time, pretty sure its AM.
we'll be using Bas addons and missions and so that gives everyone a week to hand in missions that they would like to see played and also ctf missions aswell.
@ Asmo, ill hand in another add for this weeks match, ne chance u can put some pics with it?

hey i thought that this also might be a good way to review mp missions that r submitted to ofpec, u know we try a different map each match and each give a score, average it and walla, a new reviewed mp map for the missions depot :)

Rather not. This would turn our review system upside down. If you want to be a reviewer, apply for the missions depot and we will take a fair look at your application. If you are backed by a squad, even better (we could use some reviewers for MP missions). What you suggested would be a review system that is based on a completely random selection of reviewers. And (at least as long as I'm in a responsible position in OFPEC) there will never be a random selection of staff.

We will be playing tomorrow (if a server is avalible?) last saturday we played with v1.92. You might want to head over to the official forums for some troubleshooting help. If you modify the flashpoint exe the patch will not install.
