You should see what they have done. Seems like they have made it so you can set a MG up on tripod for sustained fire, along with animations and all. They have also added an awesome looking interface for artillery support. And lastly digging trenches.

Its not trenches more of a Barricade or Lump of earth used as cover.

True but it will make for a lot more realistic missions. Instead of taking an area and just waiting you can preb a hasty defence. It would also be useful for the CEV mentioned in a previous thread. Now the plow would be really useful.

this could be done befor i have a scrip where u can set up a mg and the barrier can be done if some 1 can make me the dirt with oxygen the same with the spade.
