Hey guy's,
How do I make the BAS Chinook hold position, and then rappel all my guys, if i can do that myself once its stopped, don't worry, just tell me how to stop it if that's the case

Please, be more specific, d00d :thumbsup:
If YOU are in the börd with yer boyz (and grouped to the pilot), then the clickable "hold position" action should appear when you tell the pilot to "HOLD" (or when the bird is actually hovering).
And a few sec's after the bird is all steady, you can click on the rappel action! :-*
But as I said - if this is not it - please tell us some more, m8 ??? :)

P.S. did you by any chance forget to click on the "altitude 25 m" action menu?! ??? ::)

If you need the AI to rappel, read this:
AI squad rappel ("fast-rope") from the MH47-E:

Use the [url removed]BASrappel2.sqs]"BasRappel2.sqs"[/url] -script ;
in your chopper waypoint, put:
[choppername] exec "basrappel2.sqs"
This will hold the helicopter, rappel the troops, and the helo will fly away.
If you want to drop the player in there, execute the BAS player rappel script at the same time,
but with a 10-20 second delay, depending on where in the order you want him going down the rope.

i won't be grouped with the pilot, and is it possible to do the rappel myself if the chopper is already in hold position, if so, how do i get it to just hold?

Fly in 25 m altitude, hold the bird & use the rappel action - should work. ??? :)
