Title: Mother Of All Bombs?
Post by: p00_p00 on 18 Jun 2003, 06:17:34
Is it Possible???

A nice big payload which has a blast radius of say - 1km??? :D :D

Dosnt have to be a HUGHE massive explosion cause a lot of Comps cant run it, but a shockwave effect indicating the exlplosin + a large fireball at the point of impact would be enugh for me!

you could prolley do it if ya parachute it  but it requires a plane like the c130 to drop it

There was  B61 in the F15E pack a while ago, but even if I dropped it a 1km up at full speed, then pulled up to about 4km before it went off, I'd still get killed. Strangely, it never killed soldiers or damaged buildings and didn't even explode, but it was still a massive CPU hog, slowing my P4 1.8ghz right down  :(

The CoC torpedo pack has a really good low-yield nuclear torpedo that's got a kill range of about 800m, and looks brilliant, but it's useless unless you're using it at sea, since it blows up if it hits land.

Coding needs to be redone.
