Ok, I've seen this on here before , but I can't seem to find a solution to my AI (leader) either :
A.) Ignoring his Seek & Destroy and Move WP's whenever there are "questionable" objects ahead and stopping eternally in one place
OR
B.) Commanding his troops to fire on these 'questionable' placed objects while being oblivious to the enemy soldiers standing next to them
OR
C.) Waiting for his soldiers to destroy said objects before advancing.
The objects are placed ....all are EMPTY ...Support
- things like Gate Arms, Gate House, Sand Bags, MASH tents, etc. I have tried putting them as same side as the enemy (EAST) and as EMPTY. All of the objects have this setcaptive true in their INIT. lines.
The same AI with the same WP's against the same enemy AI but no objects perform perfectly. ::) What gives? ???

Reaaaallllyyyy?? :o Daaaaayyyyyaaaaam! >:( Well, I'm using 1.46, so I can't use it since it's only for Resistance. I'm making a MP mission and I know most people on GameSpy only have 1.46 and I want as much compatibility as possible. Rats. :-X

Well, yeah your problem is with the editor. Either get rid of the training wheels and do it the nity-grity way like me, or make those people useing V 1.46 have yet another reason ot buy the updated game.

Babs ... heh... training wheels? Well, I guess since I still (after a year) haven't figured out all of the things I can do in the editor (with scripty snippets) , I'm pretty comfortable riding around the block, but not yet ready to venture out onto the freeway! :o Besides, since I seem already to have no life beyond the computer, I have NO IDEA how you scripting types can make entire missions from just scripts and ever see daylight, much less women! ;D
Regarding online MultiPlayers not having Resistance .... short of me going out and buying everyone a copy ... I don't see it happening. Maybe I'm just playing at the wrong times, day and night , but there are never that many people on GS looking for a coop , and usually far less even playing Resistance. :( Bummer, I know. :-\
But thanks for clearing this one up so I can slap it solved. ;)
