Title: Vehicle Lights
Post by: Walther_P38 on 07 Jun 2003, 16:02:55
I'd like a flying helo at night to start with it's lights on.

vehicle patrol switchlight "on"

With patrol being the helo name.

That should work, right?

Would it work if I put it in an waypoint init to have the lights come on when it hits a waypoint?

I think the only way to have a vehicle change it's light is with setbehaviour.

setbehaviour to stealth keeps lights off (except machine guns).

Safe turns them on.

I just tested this and it works.  I placed a heli with two waypoints.  The first WP is set to stealth and the second to safe.  Lights are off until reaching the first waypoint and then they switch on.

Hey LCD,

Are you talking about the "lights on" or "lights off" action? I've never been able to get those to work.  Maybe it has something to do with the behaviour as well.  :hmm:
