Post by: terrazasjs on 06 Jun 2003, 06:37:58
I found on this web site a very good script, but the who did it just post it but no links for download the sqs file.however he gave me the script and told me to set it up.I know I have to open a blank text document and to copy there the script and then rename it,but the text document doesn't look the same as theother scripts.are they using a diferent program to create scripts?if you know can you show me how to create real sqs files.thank you

Go to

Editors Depot, Tolls: Mission Editing and download Chris's OFP Script Editor
program.

It really helped me!  ;D

Most people use Notepad (Start - Programs - Accessories - Notepad ..... that's if you have Windows.)  to edit scripts, though apparently any text editor will do.

If you want some real template scripts to copy download the Tutorial Mission from the Ed Depot and use the ones in there.

The trickiest part about scripts is naming them - make sure it is script1.sqs and not script1.sqs.txt, which won't work.
