Title: DMX Police units

How can I set these guys as combatants? They're civvies, so nobody seems to do anything. I've figured out how to make the Resistance take sides, but I haven't worked it out with these rozzers yet.

Mess around with the mission.sqm file. Open it in a text editor and change the side of the appropriate units to "east", "guer", or "west".

Can resistance units join squads from the side that's set as "friendly"?

You can also do it another way that doesn't require editing the .sqm...

You can just place the civilian, place another unit of the desired side (a "west" soldier for example), make the unit from the desired side a higher rank than the civilian, and group them together.  

Then put this in the init field of the unit with the desired side:  

deletvehicle this

or set probablity of presense bar to 0... its alot easier and faster...
