Just wondering if you guys use storyboards to help think out cutscenes and what angles to use etc.

 I've never actually done it out storyboard style.. (I'm a crappy 2-D artist..lol  ;D)

but I've definately thought about it.... especially when I was taking my cinema class in college a few semesters ago....

I try to work out a storyboard in my mind before starting the project.. but I would guess it would be up to each individual person's style of working overall....

this method is especially suited to using the camera.sqs method of cutscenes

Hmmm.... Kind of.

I'll generally do a 'mental' storyboard.

I'll run around and check out the location from a number of different angles, and decided how I want to do shots. I might even write down the sequence of events etc. ;)

It all helps to have a clear idea of what you want to achieve before you start working on the scene in the editor...
