i read that there's a function called 'cheatsEnabled' in ofp resistance. the handy autocomplete feature in the editor seems to think so, as whenever i type 'che' it pops up.
anyone have any info on this?

Self explanatory.
It Enables cheats...
I believe it can also disable cheats... However I have no knowledge on the subject.

Hmm... I think this may have popped up in the forums a while ago... might want to do a search.
I just looked in the com ref, and couldn't find that function... odd. I'd try experimenting with it to see what it returns (hint format ["%1", cheatsenabled), or if you can set it (cheatsenabled false).
I do know that there are some commands that are in OFP, but were disabled in the retail release of the game (e.g. "debuglog"). This command may be one of them, and just wasn't included in the comref for some reason.

Yes, I came across this a while ago, but have never investigated it.

yep, i too did a search, searched the official bis reference to what was added/fixed in resistance, but nothing specific. i noted also that it was a function, as setting to true/false brought up the appropriate error.
just curious is all. i suspect it's as the general suggested above, that it's a function similar to 'camera.sqs' which they decided to take out.
ho hum. i suspect i have more than enough cheats on the go as it is ;)
