Title: Trouble with an alarm going offf
Post by: NightJay0044 on 07 Feb 2009, 06:52:13
HI back again, haha, I can't figure this out, I placed an alarm inside an enemy base to go out when it's detected by east and activated by west..I like using those because it's easier names from OFPRes..

The thing is, the alarm goes off right when I start the mission and there is no way someone could of detected me already...what's up with this??

Oh no, lol, the thing is it's just a regular trigger, with the activation bluefor, whichever detecteed by OFPR and then under effects play alarm..

Nothing is typed in this trigger...The only thing i can think of is someone sees me right when I start the mission but I don't think so because I placed the guys to where they need to be so the player is out of sight.

Throw the trigger around the other way.

If the player is BLUFOR.
And the enemy OPFOR.

Activation should be "BLUFOR - Detected by OPFOR", if you are concealed you won't be detected. If it is setup like this, try "OPFOR - Detected by BLUFOR", that means they technically won't alarm till you see them, but maybe for testing.  :good:
