after all i need som atention 2  ::)  ;)

now after i noticed dat all da misions dat get tested are Nam misions i decided 2 make one 2 ;D mebe ill get som beta testers also  ;) ;D

now dis post is devided into 2 parts ;D

black writing = read b4 testing mision
pink writing = read after testing da mision (or iif u wanna spoil da suprises i have in da mision)

A little bit about the mission itself :-

This missionis devided into 2 parts ;) ;D

1) small squad leader - infeltrate base and steal somthing from it - weapons in this case - after you do dat u need 2 meet wid da rest of your team - join dem and den meet wid biger force 2 attack big enemy base - on da way u can encounter som LRRPs and fight em

2) da attack on da big base - and runing away later when da enemies start droping napalm on your head

time of da mission start is : 4:30 AM

Any specific points you want people to consider :-

cuz of me being lag hater (nice name isnt it ? ;D) - i used som methods 2 reduce CPU using

setviewdistance and settraingrid and createunit and deletevehicle are things dat u can find a lot in da mision - so if u feel dat da graphics are not da same as ur preferances u know y ;D - in result of all dis it should b playable on 500 MHZ comp (lags lil as much as i know)

da mision wil alwayz lag wen da enemies will use mines against u  :o (cuz of creating lots of bullets in da same time) - so b sure 2 b in safe place wen u give em excuse 2 do dat  ;) ;D

i spent ages 2 script da AI 2 use smartly mines and flares - sp watch out (u can also spin mines if u get close)

da mission may also lag wen using da napalm

also i know dat da napalm i use dont look good in da night but i used it cuz da oder napalm dont kill

dere is stil no intro, outro, overview pic (if som1 can take kool pic 4 me i wil putit dere ;) ;D also ny sugestions 4 name wil b kool - now its called mesima (mens mission in hebrew) but i need real name

if som1 fix da breifing 4 me (i meen da grammar+lang) i wil buy him a beer of his choice ;D

Big thanks 2 jb 4 helpin me wid info bout nam stuff ;D

if som1 thinks he wanna an can make good intro + outro IM me (or post here) wil get his name on da mission 2 ;) ;D

Oke i'll check this out too. Just a suggestion for you:
Check the Finlanders site (http://ofptf.ofprc.net) and go to the scripts section. MI_Fred has made a great napalm script and it doesn't need any addons. ;D  Not that the napalm addon is cool but ya wouldn't have to add any small addon this way. ;D :P

Right, here we go.   You know my modus operandi by now.

My first ever Nam mission - yes LCD I unpacked the Nampack2 just for you ;D -so I'm very excited ...... the tension builds - drum roll please!

Nope, too laggy as ever for my poor machine ... sorry mate, my fault.

However I can report download ok, mission starts ok.     Briefing is good, add a link direct from small base intel to large base intel and vice versa.

No major changes, I've just done typos, spelling and grammer.   I've also added cross links between the small outpost and large base sections.    I haven't checked it.

Ok!!   I tried your mission a couple times and I thought of a name for it:

"The impossible mission"   :P  

Seriously...  It's too difficult man!   Mebbe I just suck or the AI got a lot better since I upgraded my comp..  But I can't get past the first base!   :o  

1 thing I noticed b4 I died..  I was shooting the guys around the fire w/my sniper rifle and the guys that were sitting down wouldn't react..  They started to get up, then the switchmove or whatever kicked in again.. looked funny!   ;)  (they didn't actually get up and fight until the frags went off)   ::)

I'll keep trying it...  Mebbe I just need to try a whole new approach to this mission...  (or mebbe you should make the "steal the weapons" objective optional?)   ::)   :P

Everyone else, you should test this and tell me that you can beat it and that I just suck!   :P   ;)   ;D

P.S.  About the name for the mission...  How about "Our home, their deaths"??   I dunno... just trying to capture the feeling of the mission in the name...  I'll keep throwing names out there.   ;)

da impossible option is da mission Asmo playede (wid som upgrade 2 da AI)
da hard option is easier mission (wid som upgrade 2 da AI)

how hard is it on hard option ?
how hard is it on impossible ?
should i put oder options between em ? (change da hard 2 normal and make 1 between da normal and imposssible ?)

I was just waiting until I actually got somewhere to give you feeback...   ::)   ;)  

I really like how you did the option for difficulty!  That's neat!   ;D

I of course selected "difficult" and set off through the jungle..  Attacked the first base and got a little farther this time, was trying to sneak into it and got killed by a dude in da bushes...   :o   ;)  

So you see.. Not much feedback yet.   :P  I think I'm just gonna cheat and use unlimited saves...  (You should put that in for us Beta testers on this mission, IMO, and then take it out when it's ready)  

But I am testing it for ya.   ;D  

We're gonna have to start a raffle for this "seafront" real estate to get more testers in this part of the forum or summin..    ;)  

Or at least to get big mac (macguba) a new comp so he can play some of these missions.  (I really miss your great feedback)    :'(

I've got some more feedback for you.

Make the first base where you have to destroy their radio communications or a key radio soldier that's easy to see or something...  Would be more realistic.  (Or you could have reinforcements come to the base if you take too long stealing the trucks)   ;)

I noticed all the vehicles are locked except the ones I happen to need..  Convenient?  Yes.  Realistic?  No.   ;)    How about having one of the officers that stays in the base have some keys for the trucks or somthin?  (you said you like realisim...   ;))

Also, What's radio Bravo in there for?   ::)

You have a hint come up that says "hi" when the frags go off at the first objective.   ;)  Hi back!   :P

I like the sleeping LRRP's..  This time they reacted to me before I saw them and attacked my squad a few times.  (I never would have got as far as I did without using multiple save cheat)

Which brings me to the major bug....    :-\

I got all the way to the meeting point, got the message that I was close, saw a single Radio NVA soldier at the edge of the jungle.. Walked up to him and nothing...  So I ran around the jungle in that area, thinking maybe they're hiding..  Can't find em..  Then I finally do... And a guy joins my squad... And then nothing else happened...  

The NVA did not attack or move or anything...  So I attacked the base by myself eventually, and pissed off an M60 and got my rear end shot with a SABOT round!   :o  

I really want to see that napalm in action too..   ::)

no dey dont have reinforcments cuz - da chopers dont fly @ da night ;D, and da NVA is around da oder base so nothin can pass  ;D

fixes/changes list ;D

Fixed: removed all debugers (i hope) - no longer radio bravo, and dat hi thingy
Added: savegames - if u chhose imposible you get 2 savegames, ifyou choose hard u get 3 savegames
Added: - only for beta version - unlimited saves
Fixed: NVA will wait 4 you and attack wid u (press radio 0 or start engagind da base)
Added: need 2 steal keys 4 da trucks

Man...   :o

I don't know what it is...  I think it's the weapons and how I can't aim right with the AK's in the 'nam pack..  I can use the M16's ok in it, but not the VC weapons...   :-X

SO.....

I tried this quite a few times and on this version I can't get through the first base!   :-X

It's difficult!  The weapons do not agree with my playing style, I don't have enough guys (why isn't my whole squad involved in this assault anyway?)  

Perhaps make it a larger assault on the first base where the VC wins, then join up with the NVA and assault the big base?

I really wish other people checked this out so we could see if it's just that I suck at using these weapons or what...   :-\  People?  Help?   ;)   ;D   8)

I have not given up though..  Let me know what you think.  (mebbe I'm just too drunk right now?)   :P

got a few questions (playing on hard):

1) turn around the mines: how?
2) turn around the LP's (silently): how for crying out loud? there are guards and patrols everywhere! And they got NV and full skill almost, so I switched to gamma 2 before I could pic up one from a soldier
3) I got into the base with my squad, only a few soldiers left, but neither I nor my squad can get into any of any vehicle?
4) the VC guns are crap, big crap and I rearmed my squad as soon as I've got the possibility (but that's the point right :) )
5) lag is horrible (benchmark 2319)
6) where are those keys (long search :P )?
7 in hard mode, the soldiers guarding the LP's are a bit static, I've entered thebase shooting plenty of soldiers with MG60 but once a while i fall upon those LP's searching for thekeys and get shot by those soldiers. In opposition, in the beginning when I was not yet discovered, some came looking for me.
8) finally found the keys in the middle of th base, but there was nothing close by as if they were dug in the ground, mabe find another spot (if you re-enter trigger 1 new action is added everytime, think about removeaction)!

Ok, I played it a couple more times and once I got an M21, it was all good!   ;D

Name for the mission:

BURNING DAWN

I had to be careful on the first base and trade weapons alot, but I did it. I found the keys on a dead guy and got out with 1 truck.  (which is plenty)  

I noticed the option to take the keys stays there after you take them.  So you should fix that.  ;)  This was a cool feature, btw.  made it more realistic!  But you need a hint or something about it...   ;)

I killed a whole squad of sleeping LRRPs!   :o  All with 1 hand grenade!   :o   ;D  I was real lucky, cause I didn't see them until I was close, and I had a hill I could hide behind when the claymores went off.   :)  

After rearming there, I went around and met the NVA.  

It worked great and the battle started quickly.  

WOW!  Intense stuff man!  I had bullets flying all around me.  (attacked from the North)  All of my squad died in the first 2 mins of the battle, then everyone else on my side died!   :o

So I took my M21 and LAW and went up on hill 133 and sniped a bunch of guys!  (had to save it a lot cause the tanks kept shooting me!)   ;)

So then I decided to go around and ended up by the airfield.  

I found some guys and killed them (that was good placement, btw) and then headed into the base!  I saw a guy, killed him, then a few more ran out and that kept happening.  You did that on purpose, right?  It's cool!  I killed em all!   :P   ;D

Then I crept into the base and killed a tank, and a bunch more guys.  

Had to find more rockets on dead bodies to kill the rest of the tanks, but I did it!  

Then everyone seemed to be dead.  The sun was completely up.  And nothing else happened!  I had killed everyone!   ;D  (with some help of course, that was a large battle!)   :o   :o   8)

Very well done stuff.  I noticed a lot of interesting things you've done w/ the AI.  This large base is setup very well.   8)  

At the end I was running around the base, looking for guys to kill when a lone sniper got me from somewhere on the base.  (some of them lay down when in the towers, btw and they fall out)   :o   ;)

Bottom line is that this mission requires the killing accuracy of the M21 for me to beat it.   ;)  Once I get that it's all good though!   8)

So, fix the ending cause I wish I could have seen my score!   :D  (and mebbe give the "hard" version NV goggles to start w/, or the option in your gear?)   :o

P.S>  1 more thing, put radio messages during the assualt!  The only time I knew guys were still alive on my side was either hearing their guns, or seeing the radio messages telling each other to cease fire!  (kept shooting each other, jacka$$es)    ::)

 Well.....   The first two hours of this mission were pretty good but does it ever end? and if so.. how ?  


It is currenty 6:45 am game time... and I dont remember what time the mission actually started... but I swear it was like 3am or something....

The first base was easier.. and I had fun taking it out.... used an RPG to take out some armor  and then picked off the infantry.. till everyone was gone....

THe whole key thing was quite annoying in my opinion.. if you do keep it at all.. you should definately give a hint.. or something in the briefing.. i wasted a good  five minutes running around.. and I think the only reason I didnt give up and just leave the locked truckes behind is because I heard about the keys somewhere in this thread....  

Once i did finally get the keys... the trucks were barely damaged  so it was no use to me anyways...

I headed off with my two remaining guys.. and we killed two LRRP's on the way....  met with the NVA  ..... and only one joined me?
anyways.. the battle started.... and then it never ended...

at one point after killing a good 30 to 40 guys with the M21 I just hid in a bush and watched TV for about 30 minutes or so in the other room...  I came back . and sure enough there were no signs of the battle ending whatsoever...  

I didn't really see any bugs per se.... but this needs to be like an hour and a half shorter on the playing time.. and then it would be awesome....

I think i stuck with it alot longer than most people would ever try to take a base....  the sun was up....  there were still tanks in the base.. and i could have laid there with my M21 for hours more It felt like just picking off random guys....


I understand Nam was supposed to be pointless or whatever..... and with no real objectives or whatever....  but...  from what i've seen of nam missions that play with this kinda style....  they're fun for a little bit.. and then  you're wishing it would just end.....

 Missions like this are cool.. but you have to ask yourself....  how many people are going to spend 3 or 4 hours on a single mission.... it just becomes  
repetitive....

tanks every1 4 testin da mision ;D - made new ver ;D

fixes/changes

1)added hint 2 da place of da officer wid keys (i hope it works ;D) 5 secs after u get close 2 da locked trucks - if da officer dat have em is dead (cuz if not he can change position)
2) aded som radio chater if u have da radio in ur team
3) da napalm now come if dere r less dan 20 enemies in da base, tel me if it stil takes 2 long
4) remove action now added after taking da keys

dats all i can remember ;D

@ Mandible

1) get close 2 em nd use action menu
2) deir skill is low, and dey have no patrols only LPs, i can do it wid only 1 hand
3) i dont want u 2 hamng around w/ chopers or tanks
4) right
5) strange - ma benchmark is 2269 and it dont lag wen xept in 2 times - wen da mines go off and wen i create enemies wen u r first detected
7) dey have problem getin out of da LPs cuz da AI is st00pid
8) i added da remove action ;D and itwasnt triger its script, da strange thing is dat it shoul b near an officer in da middle of da base not layin wid nothin near

@ Flapje - da day passed ::)

@ asmo - tanks 4 da name, already usin it ;D look @ da changes list

@ kali - da mision starts on 4:30 - tel me if it stil takes so long  ;D

Hey LCD!

Got the new version and checked it out!   :D

During the first base it was impossible to find the keys so I gave up, rearmed my guys that were with me and left after killing everyone.   ;)

Met my guys and killed an LRRP squad.  Got their weapons, it's all good.  

Then I got a ton of errors when the radio messages were supposed to happen during the big battle..  Probably just a small thing like a missing ;  ::)  

Then I tried a few times and died in the heat of battle while killing some of the squads that come to find me.   :)  (good job on that, btw)   ;D  

And my friend came over and wanted to play.  So I let him go from my retry point (at the start of this big battle) and he ended up having to go all the way around to the airfield like I had to before..   ;)  He made it over there, killed quite a few guys and then the surprise finally came!  (at around 6:30 AM)   ;)  

It was cool, but holy crap did it lag!   :o  I thought my comp was ok now, but all those suprises really gave it a run for it's money!  It was at like .08 frames per second!   :o   :o

Bottome line, tone it down!  He couldn't finish the mission.   ;)

No errors other than those 2 things.   ;)  (I did not get the hint about the keys also)

Hey!

I checked out this newest version and here's the feedback:

Everything worked fine that I could see up to the middle of the big battle.

There was a lot of radio messages, then all of a sudden, Foxtrot Red 5 went crazy!  That group kept saying radio messages over and over really quick and wouldn't stop!   :o

It was soo bad I had to quit!   :-\

I'm not sure if that was just an isolated thing or what.  

I'll try it again or perhaps someone else will notice whether or not that happens.   ;)

 All right LCD... I have a few hours to spend playing a mission... ;)

so I'll start this one up again...  
and give my review in installments....  ;)

I really want to beat this.. so I can see how many kills I got ;D
cause I know its alot... ;)

 OK LCD... I played this morning for a little while longer and changed my strategy a little bit.... ;)


I was able to get through the first base.. and grab an ammo truck..

I managed to kill countless numbers of enemies and kill  both tanks and the M113 with a single satchel charge ;)  

the shrapnel helped me take care of a few more guys ....  

I did the whole key thing  ::)  

while my squad mates were outside drawing everyone away from me.... ;)

they all died before I got out of there with the truck.. but hey... oh well they served their purpose as a diversion ;D

i drove straight down to the meeting....    

oops    LMAO    I just realized my squad is waiting somewhere in the jungle right now.. cause I took the base and went to meet the NVA  right after that..

I got my M21 and tried to take that base again....   I have it saved where I parked the ammo truck... and played for a couple of times.. but its hard to get any good spot to fight from.. without getting over run by enemies...  

You just have to kill a certain number of them now?  because one time I had killed a bunch of dudes , there was only one tank left too that I could see...
and a few guys running around here and there...

I also spotted something this time...

you should give the guys an identity in the description.ext cause right now they are all VC with russian names ;D

oh.. and sometimes the soldiers get killed by their own claymores even if you dont spin them...

and at the last base.. some sand bags and claymores are floating in the air :o

 Woo hoo... I beat it man...  and with only 5 guys in my command the entire time too :o  

 like I mentioned.. I somehow forgot my squad in the jungle somewhere... musta been that thai stick ;)

 So I started back up again.. and I found myself a nice little spot to attack from this time..   and I'm not going to let you take it away from me either ;D

so I aint telling you my route ... lol


 but I got into the base.. kicked some :booty:  and then after a while,  I get an error message.. in the middle of the screen:

cannot load mission, missing addon: cwkskyhawkA4F
 
  I clicked OK and continued on ..... shortly after.. I heard a jet... saw some  napalm get dropped kinda close by me......      and then a few seconds later i got the message to run away......    I figured the spot that had already been napalmed was pretty safe.. so I ran that way.. and when I got far enough.. the mission ended...


No outro?   I can see how it would be hard to think of one for this mission.. but I had a novel idea here.....  since you are running a ways away before the mission ends...  why not have the player be set captive at that "end" trigger.. and run a camera script then showing the damage at the base.... sorta zooming around.. and showing all the dead bodies.. maybe some music.. make it like a fat cutscene.. but in the mission.. that way you won't have to recreate the battle for an outro ;)

Fix the error message....   change the dood's names to something asian .. and put a pseudo outro in there...   I'll even do the outro for you if you want ;)

Score attached......           I didnt want to go for the LRRP so I just skipped it. and drove most of the way to the other base.. so I actually finished in about an hour. not including retrys ;)

played.. everything went fine other then the fact i didnt see the Meeting with Squad marker i ended up attacking with the men i started with but that went fine..  went on to NVA meeting point and once the Chopper got into the air it lagged so i had to quit.. i'll try it again later though and actually go to the first Meeting point  ;D

Ok, Ill test it LCD, but only one thing, for your next version make one of the Lurps awake, thats how they did it. Im so fascinated by special forces and stuff like that (Maybe cuz my old man was a Ranger and in the SF) so I read all the books bout Lurps in nam and that stuff. (I recomend reading the Six Silent Men series for anyone whos interested) And the Lurps always had shifts where one would guard and the rest would sleep, then after his shift was done he would wake the next man up and etc... So, maybe if as you said you like reality, have one awake. Or after we are done killing the sleeping lurps have your guy say something like, 'lucky me, the guard fell asleep.' Only not so cheesey.

i talked w/ som1 dat was in da nam nd he told me dat in reality da claymores were very close 2 da LPs  ;) - but i tried 2 make da claymores as close 2 da LPs as i can while dey wont kill da ppl inisde ;D

     Ok, one prob, is the M113 supposed to be unlocked? I snuck through everything at the first base (one of the wire barriers was floating) I went under it after spinning some mines. I was crawling along alone in the base, I came up next to the M113 and it was unlocked, so, being myself, I jump in the gunner positions and mow everyone down. Then I got a truck and went to my buds.
     
     I skipped the LRRPs, went straight to the NVA, boy, that attack was HUGE, it lagged a little bit on my 1.6 GHz 512 MB of RAM system, what a fun battle, after they blew us up with M79s they used tanks and MGuns, we were slaughtered.

     Overall, nice mission, very challenging, I cant believe I made it that far. And, with the objectives, could you be a little more clear? I didnt know whether I was suppose to bring the ammo truck with me to the NVA, good thing I didnt. And also, a bug you might want to look into, when I went to the NVA, I saw 2-3 above ground, and something that looked like helmets on the grond, all of a sudden all these NVA pop up from underneath those helmets, I almost shot one of them.

I got next to it with out starting up the alarm, the crew was right next to it sitting by a fire, they saw me and I jumped in, then shot them, drove around, and shot everyone else.

     Ok, I think that the LRRPs should be in a 360 degree circle, thats how they did it. The NVA hiding in the ground should be above ground so there aint friendly fire, specify that you dont need the ammo truck for the NVA. Move the claymores from the LPs a little further out, the first time I played one of them got killed, and I didnt turn it around, when he blew them. But that was only once, the second time it didnt happen. Add an Aircav patrol that aint sleeping outside of the big base. Thats pretty much it.

     =edit= And lessen the soldiers at the last base, its too hard =], also, your difficulty, hard or impossible, I think it would look better if it was Hard or Harder.

     There were regular patrols outside of large bases, they would set ambushes or just patrol dailey outside the wire of big bases.

OK, 1st Beta test I've done....

I think you need a 'Casual Gamer' difficulty setting. I played on hard yesterday, using the multiple save cheat and finally cleared the 1st Base after about 6 hours of real time and about an hour of game time.

This thing is hard.

So far no bugs or problems, its a great mission. I don't play every day so the difficulty is probably right, it justs makes me feel like an amateur.

Mind you, the last person I shot had a weapon that would have made things easier....  :)

I like this mission a lot.  At the first outpost I had an awesome battle after I took out the west LP - but they never set the mine off at that one - and  dug in while the yanks started to lay down some fire on me. picked up an M16 , gave one guy an M60 and we started to take them all out.  The night vision was useful too.

It was all going well until the final attack on the big base where it all lags out on me and it becomes unplayable.

hmmm. Could it have sumthin to do that IÂ've installed Win ME last saturday?
And why would you want to do that? Why would you want to install win ME.  No doctor would recommend it.

I had a little time so I watched the intro.   ;)

I like what you've done there..  It's cool to recreate "underground" area's for the VC to plan in.  And I really like the map scene.   ;)

If you want I'll fix up the dialogue a bit for ya.   ;)  

I started playin the mission a bit.. Decided to be kamikaze style and walk straight for the base.  Didn't get noticed until I went prone, spun a few frags and was sneaking into the base...  

Then the frags went off and I died.   ;)  

Then my friends stopped by and we started drinking.   :P  

I'll test it out some more for you laterz...

In the intro, the man from the whole never came. There should be a man coming right? I thought so from the text he said that he gets stuck in the whole. ;D
Also in the intro, the text goes by too fast. :-\
At the meeting point where you meet the NVA, the troops are underground! Not all, but some. This looked quite funny though. They raised up when they started to move.
After this it started to lag like hell and I got killed. :P I got shot my some M79 guy. Damn I hate them when they're on the other side. :P
If you're gonna fix those pointers, then send me the mission once you've fixed them so I can put it to my site. ;D

As for the tunnels;
Since OFP doesn't let us "dig" tunnels, then we have to simulate them. That's fairly easy with SEBs 'Nam pack. The sandbag walls there, they are dirty and look like they've been used. They can also be used the build a tunnel complex! It might lag if it's big enough, but for your intro a small one will do nicely. Then just find a place which has that red dust as ground textures and build it there. I can make a "demo mission" for you if you want. ;)

im sry but dis mision is resource taker - da last part - is a fight between 7 Vietnam nd 7 U.S groups + napalm  :o (actualy its less on ur comp nd more on beter comps so i think in urs its bout 5 vs 5) - but dis mision lags on my comp also  :-X  :o - i just lay around waitin til enough ppl r killed  ::)  ;D

but i think it may b lots of fun 2 thundserbirds users  ;D like asmo n kali now (i know dey played it ;))

Yeah, the only times I really notice lag are:

1.  When the claymore's go off (of course)
2.  When the huge attack starts  (just for a small time, haven't tried it again since I got more ram)
3.  When the napalm is dropped (for a small time too)

Yeah, I like the originality of that intro and I'm interested to see what Hawk has in mind.   :D

Ok then. ;D I'll make the mission. Do you want a section for your intro only or shall I make a fairly large tunnel complex? Or shall I make them both? :P For the small one it'll take an hour or two and for the big it'll take longer. ;D Depends on how much I get coffee. :P

Ok I made it. ;D It took some time because I tried to add some 'Nam radio to it but I couldn't figure out a way to converr Real audio (.ram) to wav. :-\ If you know, then tell me how. ;D

This might look like a bunker. :o It's totally up to you to decide whether your're going to use this or not. ;) I found it fun making this and I might make a whole tunnel system. ;D Anyway, here's the link. Tell me what you think. ;D

EDIT: And a tip on how to make the guy come into the tunnel; maybe you could camcreate him or make him look like he jumped from an upper level down to the part where the intro takes place? The tunnels they used had many levels. ;D

a short nap, yes i admit. But all I have on my mind is dis mision! I'll write as I go:

Nice Intro, but there were a couple of prob's.

Intro
1. I think ur usin a trig to start the intro cuz u ken see a d00d right b4 it starts and right after it finishes. Use init.  :)
2. The guy who walks into the bunker is visible a lil before his part. jus move him back some.

Briefing
1.Nice. I'm sorta dissapointed it was all corrected tho... :-[ I like reading your LCD lingo so i ken learn it too!
2. I see why you have no 'Plan' part. I like the idea, but maybe u should have jus a link to da notes at the bottom of teh explaination?

Mission
1. lmao. You stupid bastard! I like the two options! 'Hard', and 'Impossible'! LOL! This is gona take me like 4 hours to beat! lol... see you then...
2. I experienced lag, like others [of course cause of the mines.]
3. It was easier than I expected taking the first base! I just remained hidden up in the hills and blew all of the americans away. Out of four of my crew members one was shot, and it was the Medic! [DAMN!!]
4. I literally had two bullets left in my last mag! Those ammo trucks were a sight for sore eyes!! BUT, it was kinda hard not running into the trees when driving off road! Infact I had to reload just cuz the stupid trucks go damaged! [I'ma bad driver :P  ;D]

After  i dropped the truck off, I remebered reading bout the LRRP's [wats dat mean ne ways? sorrie im not that big on nam, the world wars are my bag]. I was suprised that there must of been around 20 of them surrounded by mines on the way up to the meeting point! I had a VERY VERY hard time killing them.

When I reached the other peeps [on my side] i was relieved that there was 10 or 15 of them! I was happy cause my sniper was killed by one of those sneaky LRRP's. I helped attack the base as indicated, and was relived to see there were maybe only 20-40 troops guarding it. I told my RPGer to drop his RPG and i took it and killed the birds.

Sadly, as I came out victorious I asked two to report status...
"Oh, no! 2 is down!"
Shit.

Ahh well. Anyways.
1. May I suggest adding troops to the south of the big base cause I had my me-man flank from behind with out a hitch.

Overall I had a good time playing this mission. I might give it another go tonight!

btw- i noticed that u dint have an overview pic So I took this one from the outro for you!

OH THE OUTRO HOW'D I FORGET THAT!?!?
Awsome. I loved how the heli's fly threw the Napalm smoke. Thats quite cinematic!
1. Can the AH-1's shoot rockets at my guys [the regulars or wat ever the are] and blow them up in slow motion?? That's be VERY cool!

I love this mision, bud. All it needs is sum custom music!
