the BAS mh60 will probably have a good rapple script.

I think that chopper will have a rappel script, also chaff and flare.  Don't hold me to that though.  Let's hope we can get the rescue rope at least.

No there wont be a rappel script, there isnt a rappel script on any of our other addons so i dont know why you would expect one on this one...Rappelling is the method used to come down cliff edges, also known as abseiling, the abseiler has to wear a harness and can control his speed with a belay, sometimes done from helicopters but there are faster insertion methods, like fast roping, which is like sliding down a firemans pole, the only resemblance to rappelling is that they are both methods of getting down from things...

This is fastroping:

And this is rappelling/abseiling:

If by rescue rope you mean this:

No, this isnt going to be on the MH-60.

well I need a chopper not to big like a chinook who can drop the coc_divers into the water. Even when it flies stelth. Like in the movie called "the Rock". They dropped navy seals with a mh-60.

Erm, I might remember wrong, but didn't they use the MH-47E in The Rock?
I know they didn't use one of the *H-60 choppers at least, since they deploy from a ramp in the rear of the chopper.

yea it was either a MH-47E or an H-53, MH-53E perhaps....

Cant remember how they inserted, but the helo was definately a H-3 variant.

If they did go out a back ramp then it was probably this:

Definately wasnt a H-53 though.

Evis is right, the SEAL's were inserted by an H-3 Pelican(Jolly Green Giant). It is part of the Sea King family, same nose and stuff, just that the H-3 JGG had the rear ramp, different landing gear config, etc. Used mostly by the Chair Force, I mean Air Force, during Vietnam for SAR missions. Eventually the H-3's were replaced in the Air Force by the H-53 SUPER Jolly Green Giant for the SAR role. The Coasties also flew the Pelicans, one if its unique qualities was to actually set down in the water.

Vyper: It was not an MH-53J Pave Low III helo, the film would have required DoD cooperation in the making of the film which it did not because of the plot line of a rogue Marine general blackmailing the gov't. Also, another big give away that they had not US Military help was that the F/A-18's used to bomb the Rock were piloted by US Air Force pilots  ;). So sorry buddy, it was the H-3 Pelican/Jolly Green Giant variant of helo.

Scorpio's CH53E marine variant looks dope and might have some kind of fastrope script if you're lucky.  I know one thing, i got out and was injured.   Weird huh?

Well, its like someone calling driving a car 'motorcycling', they are both modes of transport and have engines yet are totally different things and mixing the two up is a huge mistake.

He he. This is funny. I just opened up the cutscene in mission editor from the 1985 campaign where the blackops take off in the UH-60, and the name of the two blackops that were with gastovski were conery and cage. Talk about The Rock.  ::) lol
