Hello, all OFPEC.com Veterans! Since Discord has become ubiquitous nowadays among gamers and others, I've created a Discord community for all the OFPEC.com veterans to join. ;) Oh, OFPEC.com or Arma newbies in general are also very welcome, of course! :D
Discord server join link (valid until 2023 September 17th) -> https://discord.gg/6xXEbhaY
Please come in, don't be shy. :D
It might even be possible to organize an OFP/ACWA or even Arma 3 / Arma Reforger Multiplayer coop session together, for old time's sake!
See you there. Inlesco out.

That invite has expired, or is otherwise invalid.

Here's a new link to the discord: https://discord.gg/d89BwCc4

Looks like Discord recently made changes to the standard Discord servers, so that standard Servers can no longer have permanent invite URLs. They must have an expiration date, up to 30 days max, unless you convert your Discord server to a "Community" server.
That's too bad. Here's some Reddit community's feedback: https://www.reddit.com/r/discordapp/comments/144s08w/its_no_longer_possible_to_create_permanent_invite
New OFPEC.com veterans Discord invite URL (valid for 30 days from today): https://discord.gg/3rs4mK5d8
I've updated the first post as well.

h-, perhaps you could put the OFPEC Veterans Discord join link with an icon somewhere on the homepage?
A new News post on the OFPEC Intel Depot on the homepage would be awesome as well!
Let me know if you're up for it. (It's up to you, of course, as you're the only one still maintaining OFPEC.)

Made a news post.
That button is a bit tall order, especially if the link in it would have to be updated monthly.
I mean as you can see it took me days to just post a news item with few words in it ::)

Thanks!
I'll look into a solution to generate a Discord server invite link via their API when I get some free time. Maybe that's possible, who knows, so we could implement a backend script that runs every X days and updates the Discord invite link on the Homepage news entry.
Or maybe Discord doesn't want people to have an ability to automate Invite URL renewals and they've removed any possibility for that.

Invite link to Discord was updated on Aug 18th.
