Title: [Solved] Selecting units under waypoints in editor
Post by: becubed on 02 Mar 2009, 06:33:36
Waypoints have a habit of snapping onto close units or buildings and they then become impossible to move.
If it's stuck onto a unit then it becomes impossible to select the unit and display it's properties.
Am I missing something? It did take me a while to realise that delete affected the unit the mouse was over rather than the one that was selected.

Thanks
Scott

Hold down Shift and you can click units underneath waypoints. I know...one of those "you have to know it" to know it things. :)

Wolfrug out.

Once again thanks.
How about a 'Tips and Tricks' page or a pinned topic in the general editing section for short one sentence bits of Wisdom? As I said it took me a while to work out that delete affected what was under the mouse rather than what was selected.

This section (http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ArmA:_Mission_Editor#Basic_Controls) (or maybe the whole page) might be helpful to you.

Thanks for that, I know most of them but a few had escaped my detection. Suppose I should give the Wikki a bit more of a read.
