What about using vehicles with a timed device such as the satchel charges to make'em blow in the faces of your enemies??
I'm completely against terrorists and their ideals but once I put a satchel near a vehicle and put on -30 secs, my friend boarded it and after a while it blew without him even knowing what hit him.
Very efficient!  ;D
also booby traps such as explosive corpses or doors would be great, is it possible to create such things?

Well I'd just like to make a vehicle blow up as a satchel does, with some kind of timer.
Simple, no?
maybe it could be done only with a type of soldier which gets that option available once on board, understood mon mec?

Le you (this is getting pain in arse to write :P ) want like all vehicles or just a specific car. Do the bomber have to have a satchel or just some "fantasy carbomb".

I'd like a uaz/jeep and the ural to blow, talk about dealing Massive casualties, if you can make the x-plosions very powerful, its even better, but don't exagerate.

No, not the mods, they'll just lock it 'cause I've fooled around lol. ;D

I have to fix a few things first, m-kay. Oh, and the script won't be MP compatible 'cause I don't know squat about that.

Hi,

A similar idea has already been implemented. Check the Lega Warz mod for a vehicle with timed bomb.

Ya haven't looked in the editor depot yet? There are like 5 carbomb scripts and many booby traps and a few explosion scripts like my own that's there...

The mods wouldn't lock this, they'd tie Armsty up and beat him senseless for going on a non english forum posting spree.  ;D

BUT.... what about the booby traps... I want to rig houses, bodies and all that can be rigged..!!
e.g tripwires in tall grass like in 'nam or anti-personnel mines or even weapons crates that explode.. what do you think/can tell me? :afro:

I'm assuming you already looked at the editor depots script category called mines and traps?

Anyways its usually done by trigger. You can get the COC mines. They're good and some are from Nam.

But tripwires could be the same as oddly shaped trigger areas.

Usually you have the explosive and a trigger activated by whoever and upon activation, the trigger setdammage 1 to the object. You gotta name the object to.

I found "Explosion Script" by GuiltyRoachKillar is useful for ammo crate bombs. I was makin a crate bomb/booby trap but found the script better suited as a universal explosion script... :P

One of Mapfacts packs had some mines that didn't require scripts to be added manually... I think I got it with thier version of Nogova, but im not sure. it had a tripwire mine, a AP mine, a tripwire flare launcher, and a claymore... All you have to do is place them in the mission editor, no triggers, no scripting, nothing like that... just place them then step on them (Or, better yet, get the enemy to step on them  ;D)
