Title: advanced waypointing

say i have a small q

how can i program a team to let the team leader say that 1 perosn eeds to take the back and that the rest gets in the truck or that i have a group of 12 or so and i have 12 bike's that all persons take a bike

i hope you get my question cuz i get sick of taking a big noisy lorry to transport myself to battle

i have the latest version of opf goty with a few addons like the suzuki bike  ;D

Use several getin waypoints, one attached to each vehicle that you want the group to use.     So for 8 men use 4 motorbikes with a getin waypoint on each bike.   If you wanted them to use more than 4 bikes put gamelogics in some of the passengers seats.

but i want it person specific so that for instance i get in the nice suzuki bike

the team leader gets in a nice ferrari or corvette and the rest of the teams follow in a car or 2

Use the assingnasdriver command!
Like
Player Assingasdriver Car
Give it to all units!
THen you only need to have one  Get - In waypoint!

Player - The unit name
Car - the Cars, bike`s, You BMW or what it was name!  ;)

i can't use the assign as driver command uz i am not team leader

cuz i hate being team leader because i know what wil happen (i still know) and i know the best way of appoach but i like to be under command :P

but can i use assign as driver also in the editing screen?

Yes, what Marvin means is the scripting command assignAsDriver... ::)

Not an radio transmitted order...
