OFPEC will change and update itself for OFP2 (as no doubt every fansite will), but we will definitely retain support for OFP1 as it will take a while to 'fade away'.

:)

It's impossible to say at this stage.   Nobody knows how similar the games will be, or how successful OFP2 will be.    That's assuming it comes out at all - remember that the original release date was autumn 04.

We started planning for OFP2 some time ago but until everthing becomes clearer we will keep our options open.     The only certainty, as Noon said, is that OFPEC will support both OFP and OFP2.   So you have nothing to worry about.   ;)

I thought you changed your mind when you were told by placebo. ;D

Personally I think (and hope) that OFP2 scripting will be very similar to OFP1 scripting, thus making a combined OFPEC wouldn't be that hard as some scripts, tutorials and stuff will probably work with both games. :)

I agree with Sui

If BIS/Codemasters ever says "OFP2 will not be released" there will be alot of suicides.

They dont want that kinda blood on their hands.

Exactly.    By constantly promising to bring it out, but never actually doing it, it brings hope to all our lives.     Once it has come out, what do we have to look forward to?   ;D

one thing im worying about ofp2 is that it might not be as good as the first one because alot of games do go down hill like splinter cell the first was so much better.
If not we still all have the first
