Title: Can trenches be done in Flashpoint?
Post by: Drentor on 26 Apr 2003, 07:12:53
I just would like to know if any has made trenches, or if it is even possible to make trenches in Flashpoint.

Trenches in flashpoint are crap, first of all they dont work and second of all sometimes you fall through things in ofp, and that seriously affects trenches.

You can't make trenches in WrpEdit, not unless you want a trench 50m wide.

what possibly could be done, is if you made a really large 'building" that was a series of trenches. the base of the trench could be level with the ground, and the level above be "simulated flat ground". it could be done...

I remember a small addon with some mini bunkers, mGun nests etc.  :)
Guess this (and the good ole sandbags ("woodFence") ) is what will work best.

There's a trench object included in the Campaña De Malvinas demo, it works well apart from the fact you can occasionally run through it.
