Title: 'prefer roads' command?

i could have sworn i'd seen something like this, but having searched the comref and the faq, couldn't find it.

the problem is that, although the jeeps and trucks in my convoys are being good little AIs and sticking to the asphalt, the bmps seem intent on knocking down as many telegraph poles as they can.

any ideas?

Try putting them in Safe mode.

@artak -  ::) what can i say? me dumbass :P

@thobson - seems to work and not work depending on the AI's mood. i'll fiddle around until i can get something approaching a non-destructive compromise ;)
