Just wondering if anybody knows of a/some good sites about spetznatz so I can do some researching?
:joystick:
-
I know. But only in Russian. What kind of research do you need ?
-
http://www.spetsnaz.kit.net/spets/intro.htm (http://www.spetsnaz.kit.net/spets/intro.htm)
This may help you comrade, but there are lots of myths and legends which you should take with a pinch of salt ;)

I'v already got that site down on my paper... unfortunatly that is the only site I'v got. I searched the internet for 40 min and came up only with that site :)
I havn't read the entire page yet but it seems a bit foggy. of the parts I read I didn't find any clear facts. I may need pictures aswell
List the russian site if you can I have a few russian friends who may be able to help me. I'm researching mostly for my own educational purposes as I plan to be in that buisnes later in life.
Thx for all help possible, any other SF sites are welcome aswell.

Actually in Russian I think Spetz Natz is spelled with a letter that looks like a "C" but I'm not sure, cause a C in Russian makes the same sound as an "R" in English and an "R" in Russian is back wards and sounds like "Ya"
-
in russian it spelled Cpetc'Naz ("Otryad" Cpecial'nogo Naznacheniya/Cpecial'noe Naznachenie.) (Special purpuse), and russian c sounds same as english S (almost ;) ) and russian R spelled like this P, and it sounds kinda like an english r.......
-
Oh yeah, it's been a while since I practiced My Russian ;) I was thinkin C was P and R was C!? yeah there is no real engish equevalent to the "P" but it's close to the Spanish "rr" the Russian alphabet is CRAZY, but kinda Cool.

I think that it should be spelled Spetz Naz (we say it this way in Russian).
You can try looking here. It is a page from search portal Rambler.ru - http://search.rambler.ru/cgi-bin/rambler_search?words=%D1%EF%E5%F6%CD%E0%E7&where=1
Also try looking here - http://www.sibguard.com/special.html (the site about clothes)
Maybe here - http://www.specnazof.narod.ru/

Thanks for all the sites, however there is still some facts that remain unclear. Just wondering who is the best?
Like in sweden the Attack divers and coastal rangers are the best. IN america we have navy seals and delta, in UK the Regiment, who is best in russia? I'm also wondering what is the the pistol choice of russian sf? and what assault rifle do they use, probably AK and bizon but what type of ak? do they use some type of 74 or do they use those new 107 and so on?
-Thx in advance again :)
-
Spetz Naz uses a wide veriety of weapons all kinds of assault Rifels and Sub Machine Guns they use Bizons as one of the main Sub Machine Guns and AKS74U (Like in OFP) and Grozas as Assault Rifles, Spetz Naz Never Takes Defencive Positions and when they are attacked they Disperce and Run then Strike Back when the Enemy Least expects it a member of Spetz Naz knows he is Invinceable, he may not be and probly isn't but HE knows he is, and that's good enough for him.
-
Yeah, they use lots of different weapons.....pistols:
OC27/Berdish (9x19PM/7.62x25TT),PCM(5.45x18mm), PM(9x19),Gurza(9x26mm),PB(9x18mm umpm),Ij(9x19mm)
Rifles: AK101(5.45x39mm),AK107(5.45x39mm),aek971(5.45x39/7.62x39mm),Tiss(9x39mm(SP5/6)), but mostly AK74M/AKS74/AK74MH3(5.45x39mm)....
SMG's: AKS74U(5.45x39mm), Bizon2(9x18mm PM/M), Kedr(9x18 PM/M), Klin/2(9x18 PM/M),PP90/M/93((9x18mm PM/M),Vihr(9x21mm),Val(9x39mm)............ :)
-
Great! I'm trying to suck in all information possible here. any chance of u guys having any pictures of spetsnatz?
btw what differs from bizon and bizon2?
anyone know what type of insertion vehicles they use? besides mi24/17
-
The Bizon is based on the Kalashnikov frame and chambered for 9mm Makarov ammunition. The different versions of the Bizon have different constructions of the rear sight and the buttstock. The Bizon 2 and 3 are just modified versions of the original.
Check this out: http://club.guns.ru/eng/bizon.html (http://club.guns.ru/eng/bizon.html)

Ok.. tell me what is the diff on blow back and recoil operated and gas and all that stuff. As I understand when the gas from the bullet passes a hole in the gun the gas is pushed up it and then triggers a mechanism that pushes up the next bullet right? but what about blow back and recoil I don't quite follow :)
-
btw how does the 64 mag work? If there arn't any disadvantages with it then why don't more weapons use the 64 mags?
-
Its umm......too much to explain how it works..........
umm....there r quiet a few guns that use a similar type mags, like an Fn p90, Calico.....
