Overview

Can't go wrong with text as straight forward as this. Though the image is not an in game shot, it does provide great insight in an abstract way of what to expect in the mission.

Intro

There is no traditional Intro but the author has implemented a brief cutscene as the mission starts to show the approach lane.

Briefing

Clear cut and without the weight of a heavy explanatory brief. Markers are not cluttered, links function properly, and the objectives are laid out crisply. The overall goal is not truly clear by what's there and the reader may get the impression that all objectives must be completed. However, this is not the case. In the notes section, the author provides helpful tips for the player but fails to creatively implement those hints in some form of intelligence. Gear selection allows for some variation of tactics.

Mission

With randomness used in practically every aspect of this mission, replay ability forces it above average. The amount of enemy is fairly balanced and the difficulty by which to accomplish each objective differs with each restart (though still limited in some respect).

Outro(s)

The Outro is in the form of an end of mission cutscene and contains custom music

Special

Randomness is most notable in this mission. The author also implements scripts to bring the runway lights to life, restrict the lighting distance within the city which affects the difficulty of one of the objectives. Another script is used to create insects around the lights for realism. And then there are custom explosions and fire from one objective.

Overall

The camera work, though acceptable, could use improvements in some areas and the lack of an immersive background story and any ambient sound prevents this one from being immersive. But if you're looking for a mission that you can play more than once, Sabotage is for you.
