OFP Gold Stocking Fillers

Gold barThe first snows have fallen so it's time to find something to help pass those cold, dark nights: a couple of Winter OFP missions and some WWII action.

These missions were created for OFP CWC v1.46 or earlier. Playing with Resistance v1.96 brings error messages. The best way round this is to recompile them with Kegetys' Winter Nogojev v1.1 - see the Avon Lady's OFP FAQ for a quick how-to.

The missions are:

Cold War by Devilchaser
Hunt the missile launcher on a snowy Kolgujev.

Open Moves by Blacknite
The prelude to Invasion, take out three Shilkas on Winter Everon.

Also available is the winner of the Mission Editing Contest of 2004, Swordfish III.

Furthermore, thanks go to Wolfrug for uploading the Invasion '44 Demo v1.2. This is a World War 2-based Mod that includes a campaign and some missions, though most of these are based on BIS originals. It works with both CWC v1.46 and Resistance v1.75. If you haven't given it a go before, now's the time.

To go with that, we also have Operation Overlord by Kendo J. This is a Capture & Hold mission set on Jean Christophe's Normandy island. It was intended to be played with the beta version of this island, but you can use later versions, though these tend to have more hedgerows along the roads.
