Now what does this image mean? Are you able to download a great new campaign, brought to you by OFPEC?

Hold your horses, gentlemen, it's not yet the case.  But it could happen rather soon - with your help. Ever wanted to be part of something bigger, doing missions for a greater good?  Without a mod leader bitching about deadlines - and with much creative freedom allowed? If you could answer "yes" to these questions, click on "Read more".

The rules are few:

We have set a general framework of a conflict about oil that draws NATO into an ever escalating crisis. As it fits  the game, the crisis starts on Sahrani, with a lowly RACS officer being thrown out of his private life and into the frontlines of Corazol. The last mission has also been created, with a storyboard of battles that happen in between. You could pick any of the events that happen from start to finsh, and put flesh on the bones of the short descriptions. By doing this, you gain a standing in the community and you are part of the official public OFPEC campaign.

But you need not follow the set events completely, you can cook your own story, as long as it does not overturn the flow of the conflict.

Due to Arma's huge addons, there is a limit of 500 MB of addons for Episode 1, and every author has to provide an addon free version of his mission too. The campaign is to be free of Queens Gambit to maximise participation. If you want to see the complete framework the MD staff has created, and you are eager to earn your place in ArmA history, just visit the beta boards and take a look in the new "SPECIAL" sticky.
