Good work fellaz, but a few reccomendations
« on: 14 Jun 2003, 06:08:31 »
Excellent site - lots of updates and many ppl posting on ur site keeps it alive!

Well heres a few recommendations

1) General OFP stuff no relating to Editing
I know that it is an editing site - but there's a lot of newbs like me who dont know a thing about editing and would just like to post up discussions about OFP etc

2) Area to help ppl install Addons?
Well thats just me - i have lotsa trouble installing some addons. But hey their may be othaz out there just like me!

Thats all i can think of at the moment, but I think the first point is the most important for me - as we should diversify the forum, which also attracts more ppl who dont have any skills/interest in editing or making addons, but just love OFP

1.  I'll let an admin answer that one..  ;)

2.  Addons Discussion board is already there for this type of thing.   :)

With regards to a board that isn't editing related...

This topic has been raised in many forms at least a dozen times, and the result has always been the same.
Each time, the answer always has been and always will be "No".
Why? A significanlty large part of what has kept OFPEC such a friendly, helpful and focussed forum is the reason that we are editing-related only and keep topics within that realm.

Hence why POLWAR got dumped .... it was distracting people from this site's intention and creating conflict where there need be none.

Hope this helps clarify OFPEC's position on boards that aren't editing related. :)
