OFP Tag Relaunch

OFP Tags (the old OFPEC tags) can now be 3 to 5 letters in length!

I have re-vamped and moved the Tag system, and will be promoting it across the web shortly.

We don't want to 'own' this system, but here at OFPEC we firmly believe that some sort of regulation of OFP tagging is required.

If BIS are ready to continue with their Addons At Ease initiative, then we are ready to support them

So, if you have been thinking 'i'd like to register my tag, but it's too long', then now is your chance!

Not for me. Getting a "Cannot find server or DNS Error".

Nothing fancy installed. Just behind ZoneAlarm and have no problems with any other OFPEC pages (here I am!) or other sites, for that matter.

i am mistaken, or was the idea that mission editors should also adopt this method on their .pbo's to avoid conflicts?

You are mistaken, this is only about addons. Missions don't need to be tagged as they don't cause any conflicts (unlike addons they aren't preloaded).

i think that there is no harm in using tags on mission PBO's. it's up to the author.

snYpir has/will resolve the problem. The link I posted above is the old link, which was still in the Tag's info page.
