« on: 26 Aug 2002, 16:30:49 »
How about a M14 /w. scope. Like Gary Gordon (or was it Ray Frank) had in BHD? Anyone?

A red-dot scope?  Those are used more on SMGs and such than rifles...an M21 is indeed just a slightly modified M14.

Why a red-dot scope on a full-sized rifle?

Sarcasm is the poorest form of wit....  so they say. Enough said.

Yes i think that will be a good add on, quite easy to produce i should imagine.
Indeed it was Randy Shughart who used the 7.62 M14 in Black Hawk Down.

Thanks, Zikan!

Now, does anybody have the time to make one? An M14 with a red glassed scope(whatever that does).
Thanks.

Errrrmmm... Eviscerator,
I am looking for an M14, and not an M21, even though they look quite alike.

And make the weapon itself (not the scope) light brown. Like an M14, please!

me and my father own several different versions of m14's.

the m21 is simply a m14 with a modified free-float barrel, thus "accurizing" it, it also has a side mounted sight rail designed to fit the 3-9x30mm ART scope.  the m24 is also a heavily modified m21, but the upper receiver lacks a gas piston.  it is bolt operated.
