Friday night firefight for FDF, a mini mod!
« on: 11 Feb 2009, 01:05:20 »

I am proud to announce that I have finished a Mini-Mod for use with the FDF mod. The readme:

Friday Night FireFight (FNFF) mini mod by Blink_Dog_{PKS} of Phr33k Kommando Studios 2009.

FNFF is a little project I have started to work in conjunction with the FDF mod. This version is a public beta, 0.9, and is intended to give players a sample of what the future project will be like.

The concept is to create RPG style gameplay and to use some of the great addons made by addon makers out in the community. I also wanted to make the mini mod using the FDF mod as a framework. As a mod, FDF in my
opinion is the best mod out there. It is not laggy, includes an island that compares to Sahrani in character and has some unique weapon and sound additions to the game. I have created 2 small config addons that make Robert Hammers
AK pack and Schapdrossels Mercenaries 0.5 beta addons compatable with this mini mod and FDF. I also make use of Sigma-6's vehicle pack and the roleplay objects by Tiger and Al Simmons and the MB hemp addon. I do plan in future
to add in more but currently extra addons are not needed.

Set Up:

Not all addons are included with this mini mod. You will need the following addons:

- bb_mercenary.pbo and bb_mercenary_faces.pbo, Mercenaries 0.5 beta by Schnapsdrosel http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=3459
- rh_aks.pbo, AK Pack 2.0 by Robert Hammer separate config file not nessesary for mini mod purposes http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=2862
- mb_hemp.pbo, Hemp plant 1.1 by Mike Bart http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=4272
- RPO_Sample.pbo, Roleplay Objects by Tiger and Al Simmons http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=2880
- Vehicle Pack by Sigma 6 and Gnat http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=3090

You can put these in the FNFF -> addons folder (recomended) or in either the FDF addon folder or Arma addon folder

Additional mod:
- FDF Mod, http://www.fdfmod.org/

The FDF mod is required in conjunction since some units and addons are dependant on the FDF mod classes.

Included with this download: (see below for details)

- fdf_rh_aks_cfg.pbo, This is an addon created by me. It is a simple config addon that makes the RH AK's uses FDF rk mags.

Hmmm...I wonder, though, how one would duplicate make a copy of a Background Shape and its objects once this bug is fixed?

Seeing as this thread is 9 years old, it's doubtful that any one will be able to answer your question  :dunno:
"But one thing I can tell you from not just OFP but life in general:  criticism is directly proportional to quality. The more criticism a mission receives, the better the outcome" - macguba
