ArmA2 difference?
« on: 10 May 2011, 22:58:07 »
Hi all friends,

Tried to use the good ol' onBriefingNotes "mySound" with no luck.
Is this command obsolete in ArmA2, or am I stupid lost?

And I looked and beheld a pale horse and his name that sat on him was Death and Hell followed with him.

Hi Laggy,
not sure about this one really, but could it have something to do with the fact that the briefing.html is pretty much outdated in ArmA 2? According to the BIKI, briefing.html is only used for the debriefing, while for briefing you use the briefing.sqf.

Just a wild guess.
If you have ArmA installed and your briefing.html works fine there, try the very same briefing.html in ArmA 2. If it doesn't work then indeed the command seems to be kind of obsolete (along with the briefing.html).
But, like I said, this is mainly guess-work.
Good day,

Thanks mr_book.PXS.Pvt,

Yeah, makes sense. Talked to an OFP/ArmA old timer and he thought the same as well.
Ah well, guess we'll have no more atmospheric music/sound during the briefing part anymore...
Hope they'll change that.
