Forum Text Box obscures typing when larger than text box size...Windows 7

Hi guys.  Maybe somebody can help me with this.  When I type in this forum Textbox (using Windows 7), when the text is longer than this text box can show, with every character I type, Windows Explorer bounces to the top of the box, and I can't see the characters I am typing at the bottom.  It is super annoying.

I don't think this happened to me with XP.  Is there a browser setting or something that can fix this?

It be driving me freakin' crazy!!!!

Don't know for sure if it's windows related. More likely it is an internet explorer issue, typically version 8(from my own experience) Try reverting back to your previous version or give Firefox a try. I'm liking it so far.

Not that I've tried it myself yet, but if you are using Internet Explorer 8, you could try adding www.ofpec.com to the list of sites to be displayed in "Compatibility View" mode. It's in the 'Tools' drop-down.

Gracias!  Compatibilitgy Mode fixed my problem.  Never even heard of that option.
