I've got some new stuff for you!
(future campain mission 4)

Another episode of my future campain!

Here's the context:

After the destruction of the russian logistical headquarter and the chernaruss army defeat, you need some
rest...


But of course you want have any rest, you'll have to complete three tasks!

mission author: FleePee

mission type: COOP

Number of players: 1 to 10

Game version: ARMA2 patch 1.5

Addons: none

English and french versions!  (future english voices)
(English corections by Ebden [Sparta])

Duration: 90mn

Specifications:
- 10 playable slots
- revive by all units

Lobby Options:
- number of revives
- grass layer
- view distance
- time before respawn location choice

External Scripts used:
- revive script V0.42 by Norrin
- UPS by Kronzky

Played this one through last night for the first time. The first couple objectives went really well, no issues to report at all. The tank objective though  we felt was a bit much. It was nearly impossible to get into the town or around the vehicles respawn. Need some more tries but that was the feelin so far.

I reduced the number of static T90 waiting at town entrances, changed some little things: added some more dialogs, modified the end's cutscene...

EDIT: I've added Ebden's english corections!

After a look at the ARMA2 Factions http://www.arma2.com/factions_en.html, I wonder if using the NAPA and ChDKZ factions would work?  It seems like the storyline is beginning to fit the descriptions of these groups, with Igor and his group as NAPA, and the new insurgency as ChDKZ.

Well, NAPA isn't quite right, but the ChDKZ seems to fit the insurgents in this mission well.  Would it suit to use that group and select the skins and armament appropriately?

It seems to me that I selected the right weapons for each civilian factions, future NAPA and ChDKZ insurgents...
The ChDKZ civilian insurgents are met only at mission start...

new mp lobby parameter for the revive script: time before respawn location choice
changed some T90 at Chernogorsk to T72

Played all the way to finish. Pretty good. We experienced a lot of lag when we had to assault chernagorsk though. Almost unbearable. I would say it is pretty close to a showstopper because a lot of people would just leave by the amount of desync we were getting. My guess is to many vehicles were used.

perhaps I should remove dead units before the assault, or there are too many groups using the UPS script...
Having a tank battle at the end in Chernagorsk is the purpose of that mission and I've allready downsized by half the number of tanks there...  Blink
