Addon Sorting
« on: 01 Feb 2009, 21:40:35 »
Hi, I have a bunch of addons in my addons folder in ArmA Directory. Is there something that I can download to seperate them from Official addons and user created ones?  So I don't delete the wrong ones thank you

Something to download?
Well, here is a list of the official addons that are part of the game.

Use mod folders for 3rd party addons, that way you can keep the originals 'intact'. :dunno:
That tutorial is for OFP but the same stuff still applies (although with beta patches it isn't that straight forward).

Not everything can be/is automatic, you actually may need to do something yourself ;)

"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -nosplash -mod=@ACE -mod=@CWM
-h is right you may need to do something like this,,,, ACE and CWM are addon folders but i need to explain in more detail how to to that note that the above is in target on the .exe propertys right mouse click
the folder would look like this -
ACE "folders name" inside that folder would be a folder called "addons" inside the addons folder would be your addons ;) that simple
