mabye you (should / will) make a mission about the Dutch mistakes at Sebrenica. Where 4000 civ's died. And around 100 dutchbat soldiers had to evac for (serivan / croatian) troops... because the dutch soldiers werent allowed to shoot back....

Do you have any links to that (maps and photos in particular)? I've got these:

http://www.ikv.nl/ikv/docs/pb/srebr.general.html
http://www.jcpa.org/jl/vp458.htm

What i dont understand is were the Dutch soldiers regular army soldiers protecting the UN safe area or were they part of the UN?

UN missions aren't always peace keeping, the first people on the scene are usually there as peace ENFORCERS, meaning that they can shoot anyone with a weapon
regardless of whether they're being shot at or not.

Just have a look at why UN forces are sent in.
To restore order.
Whether it be that people aren't getting fod (SOMALIA), the problems in East Timor or in the middle east.
They're sent in to get someone or protect something.

Hope that helps

East Timor! I think there should be a UN campaign about peacekeeping in a place like East Timor. Or maybe one involving British or U.S. forces...

The aussies are pretty cool, their camo is a little...well...never mind. I didn't know they were in East Timor. Then again, I don't know much. Do you have a link for that site?

how could you not know!
you knew about Timor, we're the premier force in Timor at the moment, and have been for a few years.
And yes, I agree, we do have a strange form of camo, but it's by far one of the most affective that I've seen , you've just gotta make sure you've got the right camo for the right area!
And sorry, i don't, www.independancelost.com ?

Well maybe a UN campaign should ivolve the aussies (we could just ignore the camo). Now that I think about it, they seem to do a LOT of the peacekeeping work worldwide.

LOL ;D Look at this guy:

Anyway, i would probably use the Canadian UN forces from Northstar and a few vehicles from Pinkys UN addon pack.

Chief of Aussie army,
But they don't look anything like that in combat, so ignore the 'different look' ;)

I know, but we can still laugh at them *HotShot then remembers the guards with the tall hats standing outside Bukingham Palace and his smile :) drops :( and he feels embarised to live in such a place (England that is, unfortuantly not the Palace)*
