I have been a bit busy..

We have both a Mk 9 Landing Craft Utility (LCU) and HMS Fearless

It is interesting to think that the Landing Craft used during the Falklands War, which is now over 20 years ago, are still in service, admittedly refitted a few times.

HMS Fearless is no longer with the Royal Navy and the last I knew she was tied up at Portsmouth decommisioned awaiting an uncertain future, HMS Intrepid will likely be scrapped due to her poor condition.

wow, you could always use the BAS script for the Landing craft to stick on the back of the ship

*Start the Fanfares!*

The team are proud to announce the beta release of what is possibly the most anticipated unit to ever appear for Operation Flashpoint....

The British Royal Navy Sea Harrier!

Features of this beta download:

Animated canopy
Custom undercarriage
Animated drop tanks and reduction in fuel when drop tanks are jettisoned
Animated VTOL nozzles and vents
Animated ejection seat
VTOL and STOL capablities

This addon has LIMITED VTOL capabilities. (This is because of the limitations of OFPs engine). Experiment with this.
STOL is selected after engine started. In effect this capability gives a psuedo turbo-boost to take off, and uses a reversal of this for Short Landing.

Head over to the Falklands War Mod to get it!!

 ;D

yeah noticed that but thought it made the plane hendling better or something.
noticed 3bugs NOT important to fix
when you crash the plane the marks on surface (brown circles) it comes fire sounds from it.
the plane rotates around when wrecked on the ground after crash.
you have the radar thing in action menu when the plane is crashed and you stand by it.

ok these are not importnat bugs to fix. didnt notice them the first tiime i crashed. just wanna let you know so thay can be fixed in youre final mod if  it aint engine bugs.
now i must try to hit that hind with the plane while i eject just before

edit: managed to do it look at attachment will try to get better pic 8)

Great addon.  Did a VTOL takeoff with no problems.  You just have to make sure VTOL and STOL are both on and make sure you have good foward speed before you turn them off.
